【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청은 현재 초등학교 8곳이 운영 중인 ‘질문하는 선도학교’를 2026년까지 20곳으로 늘릴 계획이라고 20일 밝혔다.
학생들이 스스로 묻고 탐구하는 수업 문화를 확산하기 위한 방안이다.
‘질문하는 선도학교’는 학생이 질문을 중심으로 배움을 넓혀가는 혁신 모델이다. 교육청은 학생용 질문공책, 교사용 AI 질문 생성 도구, 학교별 질문 축제 등 다양한 프로그램을 도입해 기반을 다져왔다.
확대 방안에 따라 교육청은 ‘질문하는 학교문화 조성’, ‘질문 배우기’, ‘질문으로 배우기’, ‘질문하며 살기’ 등 4대 핵심 과제에 맞춰 운영 내용을 구체화한다. 또, 가정과 수업이 연결되는 질문공책 활용을 이어가고, ‘질문넷’ 플랫폼을 통해 우수 수업 사례를 공유해 교사들의 수업 준비도 지원할 계획이다.
질문 교육의 효과를 교실에만 머물게 하지 않고 학생들의 일상으로 확장하기 위해 ‘질문이 넘치는 교실’에서 ‘질문이 넘치는 우리집’으로 이어지는 생태계 구축도 추진한다.
임종식 교육감은 “질문은 미래 역량의 출발점”이라며 “더 많은 학교가 질문의 가치를 접하고, 교사·학생·학부모가 함께 질문 중심 학습문화를 만들어가도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
