선린대학교, ‘2025년 제14회 G-Star 대학생 창업경진대회’ 장려상 수상

【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환)는 20일 한동대학교 제네시스랩에서 열린 ‘2025년 제14회 G-Star 대학생 창업경진대회’에서 장려상(경북창조경제혁신센터 대표이사상)을 수상하고 상금 50만 원을 받았다고 밝혔다.

이번 대회에서 장려상을 받은 선린대 ‘기승전UP’ 팀은 스프링 리트렉터 구조를 적용한 수액 라인 정리기기 ‘Line Tidy-R’을 출품했다. 해당 기구는 수액 줄 길이를 자동으로 조절해 환자의 수액 라인 꼬임·엉킴 및 낙상 사고를 예방할 수 있는 아이디어로 높은 평가를 받았다.

G-Star 대학생 창업경진대회는 경북 지역 20개 대학의 자체 경진대회에서 선발된 대표팀이 참가해 아이디어 피칭과 질의응답 방식으로 진행됐다.

수상팀의 안서연 학생(간호학과)은 “실습 중 떠오른 아이디어를 창업동아리 활동과 다양한 지원 프로그램을 통해 구체화할 수 있었다”며 “여러 차례 멘토링의 도움으로 사업성까지 강화해 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다”고 소감을 전했다.

강근영 입학취업처장은 “이번 수상은 대학 내 창업동아리 활동과 창업지원 프로그램 운영의 성과”라며 “앞으로도 학생들의 창업 역량 강화와 지역 창업문화 확산을 위해 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

한편 선린대학교는 전문대학 혁신지원사업과 RISE(지역혁신중심대학 지원체계) 사업 등 정부 재정지원사업을 기반으로 창업동아리 운영, 창업 특강, 멘토링 프로그램 등을 체계적으로 운영하며 학생 창업 역량을 강화하고 있다. 또 지역 창업 생태계 활성화에도 적극적으로 기여하며 창의적 인재 양성과 지역 혁신 성장의 중심 역할을 이어가고 있다.
