고양특례시가 '2025 대한민국 일자리 어워드'에서 중소벤처기업부 장관상을 수상하며 일자리 창출 분야 우수기관으로서의 입지를 다졌다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 수상은 고양특례시가 3년 연속으로 같은 상을 받는 쾌거로, 지속적이고 실질적인 일자리 정책 추진 역량을 인정받은 결과다.

'2025 대한민국 일자리 어워드'는 올해 개최된 '2025 지역경제 혁신 박람회'와 연계해 양질의 일자리 창출을 위한 탁월한 정책 시행 기관과 우수 일자리 창출 사례를 선보인 기관을 선정해 시상하는 행사다.
이번 어워드에는 전국 지방자치단체 및 공공기관 89곳이 참여했으며, 사전 서류심사와 전시 콘텐츠심사, 종합심사를 거쳐 최종 13개 기관(지자체 7곳, 공공기관 6곳)이 수상의 영예를 안았다.
고양특례시는 △내일꿈제작소 운영 △고양 청년일자리 미래패키지사업 △고양맞춤형 일자리학교 등 특색 있는 일자리 정책과 함께 △고양일산테크노밸리 △방송영상 산업 등 미래산업 육성 및 기업지원 시책이 높은 평가를 받았다.

고양특례시의 일자리 분야 수상 실적은 이번이 처음이 아니다.
올해에만 '대한민국 지방자치경영대전' 최우수상(훈격: 국무총리)과 '전국 지방자치단체 일자리대상' 우수상(훈격: 고용노동부 장관)을 연이어 수상하며 일자리 분야 선도 도시로서의 명성을 이어가고 있다.
