[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시와 해양수산부가 공동 주최하는 '2025 대한민국 해양모빌리티·안전 엑스포'가 25~ 27일까지 벡스코에서 열린다.
올해는 ‘북극항로와 해양 밸류체인’을 핵심 주제로 삼아 전시 규모를 대폭 확대하고 첨단 해양기술과 다양한 체험 프로그램을 선보인다.
전시 규모 두 배 확대… 102개 기관 참여
이번 엑스포는 국립한국해양대학교, 우주항공청 등 총 102개 기관·기업이 참여하며, 전년도 대비 두 배 확대한 199개 전시 부스를 마련했다.
해양모빌리티·안전 분야의 다양한 기술과 제품을 소개하고 해양안전 문화 확산을 위한 홍보·체험 행사도 함께 진행된다. 개막식은 25일 오후 2시, 주요 해양모빌리티 및 해양안전 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 열린다.
‘북극항로 특별관’ 첫 구성… 부산의 글로벌 해양 허브 전략 반영
엑스포의 핵심 콘텐츠인 ‘북극항로 특별관’에서는 ▲북극항로 탐험의 역사 ▲북극항해 선박·기자재 ▲아라온호가 기록한 북극 생태·환경 등 풍부한 전시 콘텐츠를 제공한다.
부산시는 북극항로 개척이 향후 아시아–유럽을 잇는 새로운 물류축으로 부상할 것이라며, ‘글로벌 해양 허브 도시’ 전략과 연계해 특별관을 마련했다고 설명했다.
해양모빌리티·안전 산업 기술 총망라
전시장은 ▲해양모빌리티·안전 사고예방 홍보전 ▲기술 및 기자재 산업전 등 기존 프로그램에 더해 첨단 기술을 다양하게 선보인다.
특히 ▲자율운항선박 ▲해양 사이버 안전 기술 ▲AI 기반 어선 안전 솔루션 등 미래형 해양기술이 소개되며, 참여 기업이 직접 진행하는 기술 및 제품 설명회도 마련된다.
수출상담회·콘퍼런스·체험 프로그램 등 다채로운 부대행사
부대행사로는 우주항공청, 한화시스템, 극지연구소 등이 참여하는 모빌리티 콘퍼런스를 비롯해 해양 VR 체험관, 해양안전버스, 구명조끼 착용 및 CPR 교육 등 시민 체험 중심 프로그램이 운영된다. 어린이를 위한 ‘미래해양 골든벨’도 마련돼 가족 단위 방문객도 함께 즐길 수 있는 콘텐츠로 구성됐다.
무료 관람… 현장 등록 후 입장 가능

The 2025 Korea Marine Mobility and Safety Expo opens Tuesday for a three-day run at BEXCO Exhibition Center I in Busan, highlighting the theme “Arctic Sea Route and the Marine Value Chain.” Co-hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the city of Busan, the event doubles in size this year and showcases cutting-edge technologies in marine mobility and safety.
Participation Grows to 102 Organizations
A total of 102 institutions and companies — including the Korea Maritime & Ocean University and the Korea Aerospace Administration — will join this year’s expo, filling 199 booths, twice as many as last year.
The opening ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with major stakeholders in marine mobility and maritime safety in attendance.
Special Pavilion Highlights Arctic Sea Route
The expo’s centerpiece is a newly created Arctic Sea Route Pavilion. It features exhibits on the history of Arctic exploration, vessels and equipment designed for Arctic navigation, and environmental and ecological data collected by the research icebreaker Araon.
Busan officials said the pavilion reflects the city’s ambition to become a global maritime hub as the Arctic route emerges as a strategic logistics corridor between Asia and Europe.
Cutting-Edge Technologies on Display
Exhibitions include safety-awareness campaigns, marine mobility demonstrations and industry displays featuring the latest equipment.
Visitors will see advanced technologies such as autonomous ships, marine cybersecurity solutions and AI-based fishing-vessel safety systems. Participating companies will also hold product and technology briefings throughout the event.
Side Events Include Export Consultations and Conferences
The expo will host an export consultation program, technical presentations and a mobility conference featuring the Korea Aerospace Administration, Hanwha Systems and the Korea Polar Research Institute.
Hands-on programs include a marine virtual reality zone, a safety-education bus and demonstrations of life jacket use and CPR. A “Future Marine Golden Bell” quiz program will also be offered for children.
Free Admission With On-Site Registration
