브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 국내 1위 가상자산 거래소 업비트에서 약 540억원 규모의 해킹 사고가 발생했다. 운영사 두나무는 27일 오전 4시42분경 솔라나 네트워크 기반 디지털 자산 일부가 지정되지 않은 외부 지갑 주소로 유출된 정황을 포착했다고 밝혔다.
솔라나 네트워크 계열 디지털 자산은 솔라나 블록체인을 기반으로 발행된 가상자산을 뜻한다. 이번에 유출된 자산은 ▲더블제로 ▲액세스프로토콜 ▲봉크 ▲두들즈 ▲드리프트 ▲후마파이낸스 ▲아이오넷 ▲지토 ▲주피터 ▲솔레이어 ▲매직에덴 ▲캣인어독스월드 ▲무뎅 ▲오르카 ▲펏지펭귄 ▲피스네트워크 ▲레이디움 ▲렌더토큰 ▲솔라나 ▲소닉SVM ▲쑨 ▲오피셜트럼프 ▲유에스디코인 ▲웜홀 등 총 24종이다.
업비트는 비정상 출금 내역을 확인한 즉시 모든 입출금 서비스를 중단하고 긴급 점검 절차에 돌입했다. 동시에 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA)과 금융감독원 등 관계 당국에도 관련 사실을 신고했다. 아울러 추가 피해를 막기 위해 자산을 콜드월렛으로 옮겨 관리에 들어갔다.
두나무는 아울러 이번 유출로 발생한 손실액 전액을 자체 보유 자산으로 충당해 이용자 자산 피해는 없도록 조치하겠다는 방침이다.
업비트 관계자는 "비정상적 출금이 확인되자마자 회원 자산 보호를 최우선으로 삼아 입출금을 즉시 중단하고 전면 점검에 착수했다"며 "이용자 피해가 발생하지 않도록 모든 손실을 회사 자산으로 보전할 예정"이라고 말했다.

Upbit Reports ₩54 Billion Hack Damage, Offers Full Compensation
Upbit, South Korea's leading virtual asset exchange, suffered a hack worth approximately ₩54 billion. Dunamu, the operator, announced that around 4:42 AM on the 27th, it detected evidence that some Solana network-based digital assets had been leaked to an unspecified external wallet address.
