【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구가 대구시가 실시한 ‘2025년 토지·공간정보 및 주소정보 분야 종합평가’에서 주소정보 분야 최우수 기관으로 선정됐다.
이번 평가는 2025년 한 해 동안 각 구·군이 추진한 주소정보 업무 전반을 종합적으로 검토해 이뤄졌다. 동구는 대구 내 9개 구·군 가운데 가장 높은 평가를 받아 눈길을 끌었다.
동구청은 주소정보시설 일제 점검과 국가지점번호 설치, 노후 건물번호판 정비, 상세주소 부여 등 주민 편의를 높이기 위한 다양한 사업을 추진해 전 분야에서 우수한 성적을 거뒀다.
또 팔공산 왕건길 지상도로 구축을 위한 측량을 마무리하고, 도로명이 없는 숲길이나 둘레길에도 도로구간 설정이 필요하다는 점을 적극적으로 검토했다. 이로써 긴급구조기관이 보다 정확한 위치 정보를 받을 수 있게 돼 주민 안전 강화에 기여했다는 평가다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “정확한 주소정보는 모든 행정의 바탕”이라며 “앞으로도 신뢰할 수 있는 주소정보 제공을 통해 주민 중심의 행정 서비스를 강화하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
