부천시에 따르면, 이날 회의는 ‘2025년 사회적경제 활성화 실적’ 보고와 ‘2026년 부천시 사회적경제 활성화 계획’에 대한 안건 심의가 진행됐다.
이어 ESG 우선구매 박람회, 경기도 공정무역 포트나잇, 사회적경제 캐릭터 고도화 등 올해 주요 추진 성과를 공유하고, 향후 과제를 논의했다.
특히 ‘사회연대경제기본법안’ 발의와 행정안전부 내 사회연대경제국 신설 등 사회적경제 활성화를 위한 정책 확대가 기대되는 가운데, 이에 대한 부천시의 정책 대응 방안도 함께 논의했다.
부천시는 이번 회의에서 논의된 내용을 바탕으로 지역 특성과 현장의 목소리를 반영한 실효성 있는 사회적경제 정책을 수립해 나갈 계획이다. 아울러 다양한 이해관계자와의 소통을 통해 지속 가능한 사회적경제 생태계 조성에 집중할 방침이다.
임권빈 부천시 경제환경국장은 “부천시는 사회적경제 조직의 성장을 위한 생태계 조성에 꾸준히 힘쓰고 있다”며 “이번 회의에서 나온 다양한 의견이 부천시 사회적경제 발전의 밑거름이 될 수 있도록 적극 뒷받침하겠다”고 말했다.

또한, 부천시가 지난 2일 시민옴부즈만(시민고충처리위원회)이 법률, 건축, 노무, 회계, 사회복지, 공동주택 등 각 분야 전문가로 구성된 ‘제13대 시민옴부즈만 자문위원회’를 구성하고 위촉장을 전달했다고 밝혔다.
