창립 70주년을 맞은 삼천리가 지난 11월 27일 한국도시가스협회와 함께 경기도 안양시 아동양육시설 ‘안양의 집’에서 제17회 도시가스업계 봉사의 날 대표행사를 열었다.
이번 행사는 삼천리가 2018년 이후 7년 만에 대표 운영을 맡은 것으로, ‘70주년’이라는 시점이 맞물리며 사회적 책임을 강조하는 상징성이 더욱 부각됐다.
행사에는 윤창현 산업통상부 자원산업정책 국장, 송재호 도시가스협회장, 삼천리 전영택 사장 등 수도권 도시가스 사장단 및 임직원 40여 명이 참여해 아동양육시설 환경 개선과 에너지 안전 점검에 힘을 보탰다.
삼천리 직원들은 아이들이 생활하는 공간의 노후 벽지를 교체하고, 도시가스 배관을 도색하는 등 생활환경을 정비했다. 겨울철을 앞두고 보일러 안전점검을 진행해 시설 내 에너지 안전성을 강화했으며, 아이들의 생활 부담을 덜기 위해 쌀 400kg도 전달했다.
행사 장소인 ‘안양의 집’은 삼천리가 오랜 기간 꾸준히 인연을 이어온 시설로, 지역사회와 함께 성장해 온 회사의 사회적 가치 철학이 반영된 공간이다.
삼천리그룹은 올해 경영 슬로건을 “다함께 나눔을”로 정하고 취약계층을 위한 실질적인 지원 활동을 확대하고 있다. 올해만 1,200세대에 안전용품을 제공하고 노후 가스시설 점검·수리를 지원하는 ‘가스안전 사랑나눔’ 활동을 이어오며, 에너지 복지 향상에 중점을 두고 있다.
삼천리는 앞으로도 나눔 기반의 ESG 실천을 강화해 “나눔과 베풂으로 사랑받는 기업”이라는 목표를 지속적으로 확장해 나갈 계획이다.
Samchully Marks 70th Anniversary with Lead Event for ‘City Gas Volunteer Day’

Samchully, celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, hosted the 17th Gas Industry Volunteer Day main event on November 27 in cooperation with the Korea City Gas Association. The event took place at Anyang House, a child care facility in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province.
Approximately 40 participants—including Yoon Chang-hyun, Director General for Resource Industry Policy at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy; Song Jae-ho, Chairman of the Korea City Gas Association; and Samchully CEO Jeon Young-taek—joined leaders and employees from metropolitan city gas companies to support the facility and its children.
This marks Samchully’s first time leading the main volunteer event in seven years, adding significance to the occasion as it coincides with the company’s 70th-anniversary milestone. Anyang House, the venue for the event, is a facility Samchully has supported for many years, reflecting the company’s philosophy of growing together with the community.
Samchully employees renovated the living quarters by replacing old wallpaper and repainting gas pipelines. They also conducted boiler safety inspections to ensure a warm and secure winter environment for the children. Additionally, the company donated 400 kilograms of rice to support the children’s daily needs.
In line with its management slogan for the year—“Sharing Together”—Samchully is expanding practical social contribution activities across local communities. The group continues its “Gas Safety Sharing” initiative, which provides safety supplies to vulnerable households and offers inspection, repair, and replacement services for outdated gas facilities, supporting more than 1,200 households this year alone.
Samchully stated that it will continue strengthening community-centered ESG initiatives and aims to grow as “a company loved for its sharing and generosity.”
