부승찬 민주당 대변인은 서면브리핑을 통해 “윤 전 대통령이 국내 언론도 아닌 일본 언론에 불법비상계엄의 정당성을 여전히 주장하며 현 정부를 압박하는 듯한 메시지를 냈다”며 “국민 앞에 사죄하기는커녕 오히려 궤변을 반복하고 있다”고 지적했다.
