‘WHE 2025’는 기존 H2 MEET 전시회와 수소 국제컨퍼런스를 통합해 개최되는 글로벌 수소 산업 박람회로, 올해는 규모를 확대해 약 250여 개 기업이 참여한다. 행사에서는 수소 생산부터 저장·운송·활용까지 전 주기에 걸친 최신 기술과 솔루션이 전시될 예정이다.
울진군은 이번 박람회에서 울진 원자력수소 국가산업단지의 비전과 사업 추진 현황을 집중적으로 소개하고, 향후 개발 일정과 입주 대상 기업 정보 등을 공유할 계획이다. 아울러 추진 중인 수소도시 조성사업 등 지역 수소 관련 사업도 함께 홍보하며 울진군이 수소산업 거점 도시로 성장하기 위한 전략과 준비 과정을 체계적으로 알릴 예정이다.
노용성 울진군 수소국가산업추진단장은 “이번 전시는 울진 원자력수소 국가산업단지의 경쟁력과 미래 청사진을 국내외에 알릴 수 있는 중요한 기회”라며 “국가산단 성공을 통해 지역 발전은 물론 국가 수소경제 활성화에 기여하며 글로벌 수소산업 허브로 자리매김하겠다”고 말했다.
