【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구교육박물관이 겨울방학을 맞아 초등학생을 위한 ‘겨울방학 테마교실’을 운영한다.
프로그램은 저학년(1~3학년)은 내년 1월 6일부터 8일까지, 고학년(4~6학년)은 1월 9일, 13일, 14일 등 각각 3회씩 진행된다.
테마교실은 박물관 전시 자료와 연계한 유물 탐구와 체험 활동을 중심으로 구성됐다. 학생들의 역사적 이해와 탐구 역량을 높이기 위해 마련된 프로그램이다.
저학년 과정에서는 유물 이미지를 활용한 그립톡 만들기, 고고학 발굴 체험, 전시 관람 등이 마련됐다. 학생들은 다양한 유물의 특징과 의미를 직접 관찰하며 박물관 학습에 대한 흥미를 키울 수 있다.
고학년 과정은 ‘다시 떠나는 대구고보 만선 수학여행’을 주제로 한다. 일제강점기 수학여행과 당시 학교, 사회, 문화적 배경 등을 살펴보고, 전시 자료와 유물, 생활용품 등을 직접 체험할 수 있도록 했다.
홍진근 관장은 “이번 테마교실은 전시 자료를 바탕으로 한 체험 중심의 역사 교육 프로그램”이라며 “학생들이 직접 참여해 보고 배우며 역사에 대한 이해를 넓힐 수 있길 바란다”고 말했다.

The Daegu Education Museum is offering a "Winter Vacation Theme Class" for elementary school students during winter break.
The program will run three times a year for lower grades (1st to 3rd grade) from January 6th to 8th, and for upper grades (4th to 6th grade) on January 9th, 13th, and 14th.

Director Hong Jin-geun said, “This themed classroom is an experiential history education program based on exhibition materials,” and added, “I hope that students will be able to broaden their understanding of history by directly participating and learning.”
