고양시지역사회보장협의체가 지난 11일 고양어울림누리 별모래극장에서 '2025년 고양특례시 사회보장사업 성과공유회'를 열고 올 한 해 추진한 사회보장사업의 주요 성과를 시민들과 함께 나눴다.

이날 행사에는 이동환 고양특례시장, 김운남 고양특례시의회 의장, 지역 국회의원과 도의원, 문화복지위원회 시의원을 비롯해 사회복지시설 종사자, 동 지역사회보장협의체 위원, 복지담당 공무원, 지역주민 등 300여 명이 참석했다.
참석자들은 한 해 동안 민관협력을 통해 이룬 사회보장 성과를 공유하고 서로를 격려하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.
성과공유회는 동 지역사회보장협의체, 민관 기관, 복지시설 등 지역사회 다양한 주체들이 함께 모여 민관협력의 성과를 확인하고, 향후 연계·협력을 통해 지역사회 복지 기반을 더욱 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
행사에서는 고양시 사회보장 활성화를 위해 복지 현장에서 헌신적으로 활동한 유공자들에게 고양시장과 고양시의회 의장 표창이 수여됐다.
또한 2025년 동 행정복지센터 복지업무 평가에서 우수한 성과를 거둔 12개 우수동에 대한 시상도 함께 진행돼 사회보장 현장의 사기를 북돋우는 계기가 됐다.
이어서 제5기(2023~2026) 고양시지역사회보장계획의 2025년 연차별 계획 추진 성과와 동 협의체 활동 모습을 담은 영상이 상영됐다.
특히 고양시 지역사회보장의 발전을 기원하는 '사람을 잇는 고양, 온기 플러스 업(ON+UP)' 퍼포먼스는 행사장 분위기를 한층 더 고조시켰다.
이동환 고양시장은 "한 해 동안 위기에 처한 이웃과 복지 사각지대를 책임져 주신 동 협의체 위원을 포함한 지역사회보장협의체 위원들과 사회복지시설 종사자를 비롯한 복지업무 종사자 분들이 정말 많이 고생해주셨다"며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
이어 "참석하신 모든 분들이 고양특례시를 위해 아낌없이 노력해주신 유공자"라고 덧붙였다.
시 관계자는 "앞으로도 민관협력 거버넌스 체계를 더욱 강화해 밝고 따뜻한 복지 실현에 이바지하겠다"고 밝혔다.
