브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자는 지난 10월 출시한 충전식 간편결제 서비스 ‘삼성월렛 머니·포인트’의 가입자가 100만명을 돌파했다고 15일 밝혔다.
삼성전자는 ‘삼성월렛’에서 결제부터 충전은 물론, 포인트 적립과 포인트 사용까지 하나의 앱에서 사용할 수 있도록 ‘단일 앱 경험(All-in-One Experience)’을 제공한 것이 사용자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다고 설명했다.
특히, 삼성월렛의 ‘혜택 탭’에 있는 ‘선물하기’를 통해 제품을 구매하면 결제 금액의 일부가 포인트로 적립되는 혜택이 사용자들에게 큰 인기를 끌었다고 덧붙였다.
‘+삼성월렛 머니’는 실물 카드가 필요 없는 모바일 결제 수단으로, 사용자들은 기존에 사용하던 은행 계좌를 삼성월렛 머니와 연결해 간편하게 사용할 수 있다.
