파주시는 '2025년 감염병 매개체 방제 유공' 평가에서 우수한 방제 성과를 인정받아 질병관리청장 표창을 수상했다.
시는 매개모기 감시를 확대하고 민관군 협력 방역을 강화했으며, 지리정보시스템(GIS) 기반 방제 시스템을 도입해 선제적 대응 체계를 구축했다.
