중구는 행정안전부가 전국 243개 지방자치단체를 대상으로 실시한 ‘2025년 민생회복 소비쿠폰 집행 우수 지자체 평가’에서 최고 등급인 ‘가’ 등급을 받아 재정 인센티브로 특별교부세 2억 원을 지원받게 됐다고 16일 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 소비쿠폰 사업의 집행 실적, 사용 확대를 위한 노력, 신청과 지급의 편의성, 홍보 실적, 우수사례 등을 종합적으로 따져 ‘가’부터 ‘라’까지 4개 등급으로 나눠 300억 원 규모의 특별교부세를 차등 배분하는 방식으로 이뤄졌다.
중구는 사업 초기부터 민생경제 회복을 핵심 과제로 삼고, 신속한 지급 체계 구축과 현장 중심 행정에 힘써왔다. 이에 따라 1차 지급률 99.03%, 2차 지급률 97.67%를 기록하며 소비쿠폰의 신속한 유통과 지역 소비 촉진에 성과를 보였다.
특히 거동이 불편한 주민들을 위해 ‘찾아가는 방문 신청 서비스’를 운영, 257건을 현장에서 직접 처리하며 지원의 사각지대를 해소했다는 평가다. 또한, SNS 등 온라인 홍보와 전 직원이 참여한 ‘착한가격업소 릴레이 챌린지’도 소비쿠폰 사용처 확대와 이용률 증가에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다.
류규하 중구청장은 “이번 성과로 민생경제 회복의 마중물을 마련한 만큼 앞으로도 골목 상권에 활력을 불어넣는 데 행정 역량을 집중하겠다”고 밝혔다.
