이날 행사에는 이재영 군수, 김덕중 문화원장 등 지역 내 기관·단체장과 읍·면 새마을지도자 등 100여 명이 참석했다.
행사는 △2025년 활동영상 시청 △유공자 시상 △대회사 △축사 등의 순으로 진행됐다.

유공자 시상에는 남현순 증평읍새마을부녀회원이 행정안전부장관 표창을 수상하는 등 총 30명의 새마을운동 유공자가 각종 기관 표창을 받으며 그간의 공로를 인정받았다.
김은영 회장은 “새마을운동은 단순한 봉사가 아니라 지역사회 발전을 이끄는 힘”이라며 “2026년에도 새마을정신을 이어가며 희망과 활력이 넘치는 증평을 함께 만들어 가겠다”고 말했다.
