【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=(재)음성군장학회는 농협경제지주 음성축산물공판장(장장 정용식), 음성축협(조합장 송석만), 농협목우촌 음성육가공공장(장장 한만구)을 포함한 축산 관련 15개 업체에서 지역 인재 양성을 위해 써달라며 장학금 3000만원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.
이번 기탁은 음성군 소재 13개 축산업체를 포함해 전남 보성군의 보성축협(조합장 이춘항), 경기도 용인시의 우주특수도 동참했다. 특히 음성축산물공판장 내에 소재한 대진엠에스, 안심LPC, 록원푸드, 중도매인조합, 정직한고기, 다원용역, 으뜸축산, 두은상사, 푸름산업, 성림토토 등 10개 협력업체가 힘을 모았다.
농협경제지주 음성축산물공판장과 음성축협, 보성축협은 장학금 및 소외계층 지원 성금 기탁 등의 꾸준한 나눔 활동으로 지역 사회 공헌에 앞장서고 있다.
농협경제지주 정용식 음성축산물공판장장은 “공판장뿐만 아니라 협력업체들도 자발적으로 음성의 미래를 위해 학생들에게 기탁하게 됐다”며 “학생들이 경제적 어려움 없이 꿈을 펼치고 음성을 빛낼 수 있길 바란다”고 기탁 소감을 밝혔다.
군 장학회 관계자는 “한마음으로 음성의 미래를 위해 지원해 주셔서 깊이 감사드린다”며 “내년에도 양질의 장학사업 추진해 따뜻한 마음을 학생들에게 잘 전달하겠다”고 화답했다.
