브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= AXA손해보험은 연말을 맞아 지역아동센터 청소년을 대상으로 문화생활 지원 프로그램 ‘우리들의 가장 즐거운 하루’를 진행했다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 청소년의 정서적 안정과 심리적 회복을 돕는 ‘마인드 헬스(Mind Health)’ 강화를 목적으로 마련됐다. 행사는 지난 20일 오전 서울 송파구 잠실 롯데시네마 월드타워점에서 열렸으며, 서울시지역아동센터협의회 산하 지역아동센터를 이용하는 청소년 100명이 참여했다.
AXA손해보험은 이날 참여 청소년들에게 영화 ‘아바타3’ 관람 기회를 제공하고, 영화 티켓과 함께 팝콘과 음료 등 간식, 식대도 지원했다. 또래와 함께 문화생활을 즐기며 긍정적인 관계를 형성할 수 있도록 돕는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
이번 활동은 단순한 영화 관람을 넘어 스트레스 해소와 심리·정서적 안정에 기여하는 문화·예술 체험 프로그램으로 기획됐다. 청소년들이 일상에서 벗어나 또래와 함께 시간을 보내며 정서적 안정과 사회성을 키울 수 있도록 지원하는 취지다.
특히 이번 프로그램은 AXA손해보험 노동조합이 매년 진행해 온 영화제와 연계해 운영됐다. 노동조합은 올해 서울 롯데시네마 월드타워점을 비롯해 서울 목동, 대구, 부산, 광주 등 전국 주요 도시에서 영화제를 동시에 진행했으며, 임직원과 가족이 함께 참여했다. 행사 참가비로 마련된 기금은 심장병 환아를 돕는 기부로 이어질 예정이다.
AXA손해보험 관계자는 ‘청소년 시기는 정서적 안정과 사회성 형성이 중요한 시기’라며 ‘이번 프로그램이 아이들이 한 해를 마무리하며 긍정적인 에너지를 얻는 계기가 되길 바란다’고 말했다. 이어 ‘악사손보는 ‘케어(CARE)’의 가치를 바탕으로 보험 서비스를 넘어 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 사회공헌 활동을 지속해 나가겠다’고 밝혔다.
한편 AXA손해보험은 청소년과 아동을 위한 사회공헌 활동을 꾸준히 이어오고 있다. 지난해 12월에는 임직원 기부 챌린지를 통해 지역 청소년에게 테마파크 자유이용권과 밀키트를 지원했으며, 올해 2월에는 신학기를 앞둔 청소년을 대상으로 뮤지컬 ‘베르테르’ 관람을 후원했다. 이와 함께 가정폭력 피해 아동을 위한 재활·치료 지원 등 다양한 아동·청소년 지원 활동도 병행하고 있다.
