한국항공대-화전동, 겨울철 취약계층에 김장김치 50박스 전달

고양특례시 덕양구 화전동이 한국항공대학교와 함께 지역 취약계층을 위한 따뜻한 나눔을 실천했다.

화전동은 지난 19일 한국항공대학교가 기탁한 김장김치 50박스를 독거노인 등 어려운 이웃 50가구에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

겨울철을 맞아 마련된 이번 김장 나눔 행사에는 한국항공대학교 교직원 봉사단과 재학생, 화전동 직능단체 관계자 등 100여 명이 참여해 직접 김장김치를 담그며 이웃사랑을 실천했다.

참여자들이 정성껏 담근 김치는 화전동 지역 내 독거노인을 비롯한 취약계층 50가구에 개별 전달됐다.

허희영 한국항공대학교 총장은 "이번 김장 나눔이 우리 이웃들에게 위로와 힘이 되길 바란다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 나눔 활동을 꾸준히 이어가겠다"고 밝혔다.

신형식 화전동장은 "올해도 변함없이 따뜻한 손길을 전해주신 한국항공대학교와 참여해 주신 모든 분들께 감사드린다"며 "정성 가득한 김치가 어려운 이웃에게 큰 도움이 될 것"이라고 전했다.
