브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차그룹이 미국 최고 권위의 충돌 안전 평가에서 2년 연속 ‘가장 안전한 차’ 최다 선정 기록을 세우며 글로벌 안전 브랜드로서의 위상을 공고히 했다.
현대차그룹은 미국 고속도로 안전보험협회(IIHS)가 발표한 충돌 안전 평가 결과, 총 21개 차종이 ‘톱 세이프티 픽 플러스(TSP+)’와 ‘톱 세이프티 픽(TSP)’ 등급에 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 이는 전 세계 자동차 그룹 가운데 가장 많은 선정 수로, 공동 2위인 폭스바겐과 혼다(각 9개 차종)를 크게 앞선 성과다.
