민주평화통일자문회의 고양시협의회가 12월 20일 오후 4시 화정 베네치아부페에서 「2025년 4분기 정기회의 및 활동보고회」를 성황리에 개최했다.
이날 행사에는 이동환 고양특례시장을 비롯해 자문위원 및 내빈 등 160여 명이 참석해 한반도 평화와 통일을 위한 뜻을 모았다.

1부 정기회의에서는 '화해·협력의 남북관계 재정립을 위한 정책방향'을 주제로 통일의견수렴이 진행됐다.
참석한 자문위원들은 남북관계 개선과 한반도 평화 정착을 위한 정부의 통일·대북정책 추진 방향에 대해 다양한 의견을 제시하며 활발한 토론을 펼쳤다.
이어진 2부 활동보고회에서는 2025년 한 해 동안 고양시협의회가 추진해 온 주요 통일활동 성과를 공유하고, 자문위원 간 교류와 화합의 시간을 가졌다.
고양시협의회는 올 한 해 평화·통일 공감대 확산을 위해 다채로운 활동을 펼쳐왔다.
주요 활동으로는 관내 초등학교를 대상으로 한 찾아가는 통일교육, 청소년 대상 DMZ·통일전망대 현장 체험형 통일캠프, 광복 80주년을 기념한 시민 참여형 통일공감 행사, 북한이탈주민 및 지역사회와 함께하는 나눔·봉사 활동 등을 추진하며 지역사회 내 평화문화 확산에 기여했다.
김성주 협의회장은 개회사를 통해 "2025년은 자문위원 여러분의 헌신으로 지역사회 속에서 평화와 통일의 가치를 실천한 의미 있는 한 해였다"며 "앞으로도 시민과 함께하는 통일활동을 통해 실질적인 공감대를 넓혀 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
고양시협의회는 앞으로도 국민 참여형 통일의견수렴과 청소년·시민 중심의 통일활동을 통해 지역사회 내 평화문화 확산을 위한 적극적인 역할을 수행해 나갈 계획이다.

The Goyang City Council of the National Unification Advisory Council successfully held its "2025 4th Quarter Regular Meeting and Activity Report" at the Venetian Buffet in Hwajeong on December 20th at 4:00 PM.
