【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 행정안전부가 선정하는 ‘지역사랑상품권 우수 지방정부’에 이름을 올리며 특별교부세 2억 원을 확보했다고 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 국비 지원 이전인 1~4월 자체 발행 노력(70%) 및 9월~10월 국비 집행 실적(30%)을 반영한 종합 점수를 산출해 지역사랑상품권 발행 192개 지방정부 중 79개를 대상으로 차등 지급됐다.
이번 선정은 군이 ‘음성행복페이’를 중심으로 추진해 온 소비 활성화와 소상공인 지원 정책의 성과가 종합적으로 평가받은 결과다.
음성행복페이는 지난 5월 진천군과 지역사랑상품권 교차사용 지역 확대를 위한 협약식을 하고, 7월 1일부터 음성군 맹동면과 진천군 덕산읍까지 지역사랑상품권 교차사용을 시행했다. 이를 통해 소상공인과 자영업자 매출 감소를 극복하고, 주민 불편을 해소해 사용 편의성을 증대시켰다.
또한 민생경제 회복 정책의 실효성을 높이기 위해 민생회복 소비쿠폰 지급 시기에 맞춰 지난 7월 15일부터 구입한도를 50만원에서 100만원으로 상향하고 코리아 그랜드 페스티벌 기간(10.29.~11.9)에는 인센티브 지급률을 20%까지 상향했다.
그 결과 월평균 결제액이 1~6월 기간 53억 원에서 7월~11월 기간 65억 원으로 증가했으며, 결제액이 곧바로 소상공인 매출로 연결되면서 지역경제 활성화에 큰 도움이 됐다.
군은 앞서 민생회복 소비쿠폰 평가에서도 기초자치단체 최고 등급인 가등급을 받아 특별교부세 2억 원을 확보한 바 있다.
이번에 확보한 특별교부세도 민생경제 회복과 지역경제 활성화를 위한 사업에 적극 활용할 방침이다.
음성행복페이는 연말까지 인센티브 지급률을 15%로 유지하며 최대 100만원 사용 시 15만 원까지 인센티브로 돌려받을 수 있다.
