파주문화재단이 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국문화예스트교육진흥원이 주관하는 2026 꿈의 예술단(오케스트라) 신규 거점기관으로 최종 선정되었다.

꿈의 예술단은 아동과 청소년이 다양한 예술 장르를 경험하며 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 지원하는 한국의 대표적인 문화예술교육 정책사업이다.
이 중 꿈의 오케스트라는 악기 연주와 합주 과정을 통해 상호존중과 협력을 배우는 엘 시스테마 철학을 기반으로 운영된다.
지난 9월 전국 6개소 중 하나로 예비거점기관에 선정되었던 파주문화재단은 약 3개월간의 준비 과정을 거쳐 최종 심사를 통과하며 정식 거점기관으로 이름을 올렸다.
재단은 예비거점 운영 기간 동안 지역 유관기관 및 교육 종사자 협력 네트워크 구축, 음악교육 전문가 자문 및 역량 강화, 찾아가는 설명회와 악기 체험 워크숍 등을 수행했다.
특히 2026년 교육 계획의 사전 수립과 파주시민회관 내 환경 개선 등 안정적인 교육 기반을 마련한 점이 이번 심사에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
최종 선정에 따라 파주문화재단은 2026년부터 향후 6년간 총액 최대 7억여 원의 국비를 지원받는으며 이를 통해 파주 지역의 사회·문화적 취약계층을 포함한 아동과 청소년들은 무상으로 악기 대여와 전문 오케스트라 교육을 받게 된다.
