파주시가 농림축산식품부 주관 '2025년 농산시책 지자체 평가'에서 우수기관으로 선정돼 장려상을 받았다.
농림축산식품부는 쌀 적정 생산과 식량작물 안정 생산을 위한 지자체의 노력을 평가하기 위해 이번 평가를 실시했다.
평가 항목에는 벼 재배면적 감축 등 쌀 적정 생산 노력, 농산 시책 참여도, 식량작물 안정 생산 성과 등이 포함됐다.
파주시는 전략작물 및 밭작물 육성 중심의 생산 기반 조성과 쌀 수급 안정을 위한 적정 생산 정책을 체계적으로 추진한 점을 인정받았다.
