파주시가 국민권익위원회가 발표한 '2025년 공공기관 종합청렴도 평가'에서 2년 연속 2등급을 받으며 청렴 행정의 성과를 입증했다고 23일 밝혔다.
국민권익위원회는 매년 공공기관의 청렴 인식 제고와 청렴 문화 확산을 위해 종합청렴도 평가를 실시하고 있다.
올해 시 단위 평가 대상 74곳 중 1등급은 4곳, 2등급은 파주시를 포함해 22곳이 선정됐다.
종합청렴도 평가는 민원인과 내부 직원을 대상으로 한 '청렴체감도' 설문조사와 반부패 추진 노력을 평가하는 '청렴노력도', 부패실태 평가를 종합해 산출된다.
파주시는 청렴체감도에서 2년 연속 2등급을 유지했으며, 청렴노력도는 지난해보다 한 단계 상승한 2등급을 받았다.
특히 청렴노력도에서 89.2점을 받아 전국 시 단위 평균 84.1점보다 5.1점 높은 점수를 기록했다.
반부패 추진계획 수립 및 추진기반 마련, 부패 취약분야 집중 개선 등 5개 항목에서 만점을 받는 성과를 거뒀다.
청렴체감도 분야에서도 76.9점으로 전국 평균 75.0점을 1.9점 앞서며 행정의 투명성과 신뢰도를 높이기 위한 노력이 결실을 맺었다는 평가다.
파주시는 청렴 문화 확산을 위해 다양한 시책을 추진해왔다.
올해는 팝페라 공연과 연계한 청렴콘서트를 개최해 MZ세대 공무원의 적극적인 참여를 이끌어냈으며, 청렴방송 '청렴 온에어(ON AIR)', '청렴소통 간담회' 등을 운영했다.
또한 예방감사 강화, 부당지시와 갑질행위 피해 직원이 노조 명의로 감사관에 청원할 수 있는 '청렴청원제' 등 선진적인 감사활동도 시행하고 있다.
김경일 파주시장은 "파주시 모든 공직자가 한마음으로 시민 행복을 위해 노력한 결과 해마다 진전을 이루고 있다"며 "청렴도시 파주의 위상을 확고히 세울 수 있도록 소명의식을 갖고 시민 중심 행정에 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
