고양특례시가 24일 덕양구 창릉동 소재 1.2.3(원투쓰리) 골프클럽으로부터 어려운 이웃을 위한 성금 5천만 원을 전달받았다고 밝혔다.
이번 기부는 1.2.3 골프클럽이 2000년부터 26년간 이어온 나눔 실천의 연장선이다.
골프클럽은 그동안 총 12억 6,554만 2천 원의 성금을 기탁하며 지역사회 나눔문화 확산에 앞장서 왔다.

특히 1.2.3 골프클럽은 2021년 고양시 1호 나눔명문기업으로 가입한 이후 매년 빠짐없이 기부를 이어가고 있다.
'나눔명문기업'은 1억 원 이상을 기부하거나 3년 이내 납부를 약정한 고액 기업기부자 모임으로, 선한 영향력으로 우리 사회의 나눔문화 확산에 기여하는 기업들이 참여하고 있다.
이 같은 공로를 인정받아 1.2.3 골프클럽은 올해 경기도로부터 2025년 나눔문화 확산 유공 표창을 받았다.
이번에 기탁된 성금 5천만 원은 경기 사회복지공동모금회를 통해 골프장 인근 경로당 및 복지시설, 관내 독거 어르신 등 추운 겨울을 보내는 소외계층에게 전달될 예정이다.
한제걸 대표이사는 "땅의 지혜를 가진 뱀의 해가 저물고, 땅을 박차고 달리는 말의 해가 밝아온다"며 "다가오는 새해에는 고양시민 모두가 힘차고 열정적인 한 해가 되시길 기원한다"고 말했다.
시 관계자는 "우리 시 첫 나눔명문 기업이자 경기 북부 제3호 나눔명문기업의 위상에 걸맞게 경기도 유공 표창을 수상한 것을 진심으로 축하드린다"며 "26년간 한결같은 나눔 실천으로 지역사회에 귀감이 되고 있다"고 감사를 전했다.
