브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 삼성 TV 플러스에서 2000년대 인기 드라마를 고화질로 즐길 수 있는 ‘올인원(All-in-One) AI 통합 채널’을 선보이며 시청 경험 혁신에 나선다.
삼성전자는 과거 저화질로 제작된 드라마에 생성형 AI 기반 업스케일링 기술을 적용해 4K 수준의 초고화질로 복원하고, 화질·음질·정보 제공까지 통합한 새로운 시청 환경을 제공한다고 밝혔다. 이를 통해 부모 세대가 즐겨 보던 명작 드라마를 자녀 세대와 함께 고화질로 감상할 수 있도록 했다.
이번 채널에서는 ▲가을동화 ▲명랑소녀 성공기 ▲다모 등 2000년대를 대표하는 K-드라마를 우선 제공한다. 향후 ▲겨울연가 ▲옥탑방 고양이 ▲토마토 등 인기 작품들도 순차적으로 추가될 예정이다.
삼성전자는 ‘올인원 AI 통합 채널’에 다양한 AI 기반 기능을 탑재했다. 화질 업스케일링을 통해 노이즈를 줄이고 색 표현과 디테일을 강화해 과거 영상의 감성을 유지하면서도 최신 시청 환경에 어울리는 화면을 구현했다. 음질 역시 AI 리마스터링 기술을 적용해 등장인물의 음성과 배경음을 분리하고, 저음 영역을 보강해 더욱 자연스럽고 또렷한 사운드를 제공한다.
또한 시청 편의성을 높이기 위해 AI 기반 정보 기능도 강화했다. 회차별 핵심 내용을 요약해 주는 ‘AI 시놉시스’를 통해 드라마 흐름을 쉽게 파악할 수 있으며, 이전 회차의 주요 장면을 자동 편집해 보여주는 ‘AI 리캡(지난 이야기)’ 기능도 제공된다.
삼성전자는 이번 서비스를 통해 명작 K-드라마를 현대적인 시청 경험으로 재해석하는 플랫폼으로 삼성 TV 플러스를 확장해 나간다는 계획이다.

한편 삼성 TV 플러스는 별도 가입이나 구독 없이 이용할 수 있는 광고 기반 무료 스트리밍 서비스(FAST)로, 삼성 TV와 모바일 기기 등 다양한 디바이스에서 제공된다. 현재 전 세계 30개국에서 약 3,500개 채널과 6만6,000여 편의 주문형 비디오(VOD)를 무료로 서비스하고 있으며, 모바일 앱은 갤럭시 스토어와 구글 플레이스토어에서 내려받을 수 있다.
