【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 국가에서 5년마다 실시하는 총조사인 인구주택총조사와 농림어업총조사를 조사원들의 헌신적인 활동과 군민들의 적극적인 협조 덕분에 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.
이번 총조사는 국가데이터처 주관으로 10월 22일부터 12월 22일까지 인구 및 주거 실태와 농림어업 구조 전반을 파악하기 위해 전국적으로 실시됐다. 조사결과는 국가와 지방자치단체에서 관련 정책 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 예정이다.
군은 조사 기간 사전교육과 현장 중심의 관리 체계를 구축해 조사 품질을 높였다. 특히 조사원들은 추위 등 어려운 여건 속에서도 책임감을 가지고 조사 대상 가구에 방문 조사를 수행해 정확한 통계자료 확보를 위해 힘썼다.
또한 인터넷, 전화 등 비대면 조사를 병행하고 군민 눈높이에 맞는 설명과 응대로 조사에 대한 신뢰성 확보했으며, 이 과정에서 조사원들의 전문성과 성실성이 조사 성공의 핵심 역할을 했다.

한편 이번 조사 결과는 국가데이터처 분석을 거쳐 농림어업총조사는 내년 9월, 인구주택총조사는 내년 11월에 공표될 예정이다.
