인천대 물리학과 김병훈 교수, '국가 연구개발 우수성과 100선' 선정

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천대학교가 29일, 물리학과 김병훈 교수가 과학기술정보통신부 ‘2025년 국가연구개발 우수성과 100선’에 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 

인천대에 따르면,  우수성과 100선은 국가 발전을 견인해 온 과학기술의 역할에 대한 국민들의 이해와 관심을 제고하고 과학기술인들의 자긍심을 고취하고자, 범부처적으로 우수한 국가연구개발 성과를 선정하는 제도이다.

올해는 각 부·처·청이 선별․추천한 총 970건의 후보 성과를 대상으로, 산·학·연 전문가 105명으로 구성된 선정평가위원회평가와 대국민 공개검증을 거쳐 최종 100건의 우수성과를 선정했다.

인천대학교 물리학과 김병훈 교수는 도파민 용액에 상용화되고 있는 실크 천을 넣어 폴리도파민이 들어간 실크 천을 만든 후, 열처리를 하여 원래의 실크와 유연성이 같고 전기적 특성이 매우 우수한 전자섬유를 개발하여 스마트 섬유 시장의 경쟁력을 확보한 점을 인정받아 5명이 선정된 순수기초․인프라분야에서 우수성과자로 선정됐다.

특히, 김병훈 교수는 전자섬유 개발을 주제로 2019년에 이어 2025년에도 우수성과 100선에 선정되어 전자섬유 분야를 이끌고 있는 과학자임을 증명했다.

이번 성과는 인천대 김정우 교수, 건국대 김연호 교수, 한국기초과학지원연구원의 장현석 박사와의 협업으로 이뤄졌다.
