고양특례시가 환경교육 분야에서 또 한 번 성과를 거뒀다.
시가 운영하는 환경교육 프로그램 2개 과정이 환경부 우수 환경교육프로그램으로 새롭게 지정됐다고 29일 밝혔다.
이번 신규 지정으로 고양시는 기존 4개 프로그램과 함께 총 6개의 환경부 우수 환경교육프로그램을 보유하게 됐다.
모든 프로그램은 유아·아동·특수교육 대상으로 운영되고 있어, 생애주기별 맞춤형 환경교육 체계를 갖췄다는 평가를 받고 있다.

이번에 환경부 지정을 받은 프로그램은 '작은 씨앗, 큰 세상'과 '토닥토닥 수고했어!' 2개 과정이다.
'작은 씨앗, 큰 세상'은 유아의 잠재력과 성장 가능성을 씨앗에 비유하여, 함께 더불어 사는 세상을 만들어가자는 의미를 담았다.
