29일 군에 따르면, 이번 대소면 화학물질 피해로 접수한 280여 농가에 농작업에 필요한 농기계를 무상으로 전폭 지원한다고 밝혔다.
농기계 임대료 전액 감면 대상은 화학물질 피해를 입은 대소면 8개 마을 농경지 대상이며 음성군에 피해를 접수한 농가이면 해당된다.
농가당 농기계 종류와 관계없이 최대 5일까지 무상 임대가 가능하고 지역에서 가까운 임대사업소를 방문해 간단한 확인 절차 이후 사전 예약을 통해 무상으로 사용할 수 있다.
자세한 사항은 군 농업지원과 농업기계팀 또는 가까운 임대사업소로 문의하시면 안내받을 수 있다.
군 관계자는 “농업기계 임대료 전액 감면을 통해 피해 농가의 경영 부담을 덜고, 화학물질 누출로 어려움을 겪는 농업인들이 제때 영농에 나설 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
한편 지난 삼성면 폭설 피해 농가들에도 무상 임대 추진을 통해 적기 영농에 도움이 된 바 있다.
