제1호 공공심야약국으로 지정된 곳은 ‘광재약국(음성읍 중앙로 106)’으로, 매일 밤 9시부터 자정까지 3시간 동안 심야약국을 운영한다.
그동안 늦은 밤 가벼운 증상에도 응급실을 찾아야 했던 군민들은 앞으로 공공심야약국에서 전문 약사의 복약 지도에 따라 안전하게 의약품을 구매할 수 있게 됐다.
광재약국은 연중무휴로 운영되나, 약국 사정에 따라 월 1~2회 비정기적 휴무일이 있을 수 있어 방문 전 미리 약국에 문의해 운영 여부를 안내받을 수 있다.
군 보건소 관계자는 “이번 공공심야약국 지정으로 심야시간대 군민들의 의료 공백을 해소하고 불필요한 응급실 이용을 줄이는 데 큰 도움이 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 군민들의 건강과 안전을 위해 의료서비스를 더욱 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
