[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 김해시는 올해 시 전체 예산의 41%에 달하는 사회복지 분야에 총 8천446억원을 투입한다고 78일 밝혔다.
이는 전년 대비 733억원이 늘어난 금액으로 노인 2천569억원, 보육 2천285억원, 기초생활보장 1천772억원, 취약계층지원 858억원, 사회복지일반 427억원, 가족·여성 383억원, 보훈 73억원, 노동 55억원, 청소년 24억원이다.
시는 '시민의 꿈과 행복이 가득한 복지도시 김해'를 실현하기 위해 출산·양육친화 환경을 조성하고, 살던 곳에서 돌봄 통합 지원과 장애인의 일상생활 지원, 복지안전망 강화를 통한 저소득층 보호 등 생애주기별 맞춤형 지원을 더욱 강화한다.
올해 주요 사업은 지역 간 균형 있는 복지인프라 기반 마련을 위한 진영권역 종합사회복지관 건립과 제6기 김해특화형 지역사회보장계획 수립, 건강한 자립의 삶을 실현하는 자활근로사업 추진 등이다.

분야별로 주요 사업을 보면 출산 및 양육환경 조성을 위해 출산축하금 지원, 둘째아 출산축하상품권 지원, 첫만남 이용권 지원, 부모급여 지급, 가정양육수당 지급, 아이돌봄서비스 지원 강화, 공동육아나눔터 5개소 운영, 야간·휴일·시간제 보육을 위한 틈새보육시설 확대 등을 추진한다.
또 여성의 사회참여 확대 및 취·창업 지원을 위해 여성새로일하기센터 2개소를 운영해 직업교육훈련, 집단상담 프로그램, 창업교육, 창업 컨설팅 과정 등을 지원한다.
특히 올해는 직업교육훈련 과정이 기존 10개 과정에서 14개 과정으로 확대 운영되며, 고용노동부가 담당하던 집단상담프로그램 업무가 성평등가족부로 이관됨에 따라 지원 체계가 한층 강화된다.
시는 노인복지 증진을 위해 노인일자리사업에 292억원을 투입, 지난해 대비 381명이 늘어난 7천275명에게 일자리를 제공하고 기초연금 인상분 반영한 1995억원 지원으로 소득 지원을 강화한다.
의료 및 요양은 통합돌봄 대상을 노인·고령장애인에서 돌봄이 필요한 시민 전체로 확대해 지역사회 중심의 촘촘한 돌봄체계를 구축한다.
또 어르신 여가·문화·복지 기능 강화를 위해 1987년 건축돼 노후화된 김해시노인복지회관의 신축사업을 추진한다.

박종주 시 복지국장은 "고령화에 따른 가족, 사회적 돌봄 부담이 증가하고, 가족 구조 변화에 따른 새로운 복지 수요가 점차 증가하고 있다"며 "이에 따라 아이 키우기 좋은 환경 조성부터 어르신의 안정된 노후, 취약계층의 자립과 돌봄까지 전 생애를 아우르는 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 복지정책들을 더욱 꼼꼼하게 추진해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
