대구시교육청은 8일 교육부가 주최하고 한국교육과정평가원이 주관한 ‘2025년도 수업혁신사례 연구대회’에서 대구 지역 초등 12편, 중등 18편 등 총 30편의 연구사례가 수상의 영예를 안았다고 밝혔다.
특히 1등급작도 16편이나 배출하며 전국적으로 높은 평가를 받았다. 초등에서는 12편 중 9편, 중등에서는 18편 중 7편이 각각 1등급에 선정됐다.
시상식은 지난 7일 오전, 서울 서초구 엘타워에서 열렸다.
초등 부문에서는 학생 주도 탐구 활동과 디지털 역량을 접목한 연구가 돋보였다. 영선초의 김재신 교사는 미술 수업에 탐구 단계를 체계적으로 적용해 창의역량을 키우는 방법을 제시했고, 대봉초 김유환 교사는 수학 수업에 도구 기반 탐구 전략을 도입해 학생들의 학습 태도를 개선했다. 매곡초 성애경 교사는 인공지능 도구를 활용한 문학 프로젝트로 미래 핵심 역량을 기르는 수업 모델을 선보였다.
중등 부문에서는 교과 간 융합과 학습자 주도성 강화 사례가 주목받았다. 경북대사범대부설고 권혜정 교사는 음악을 매개로 탐구·융합 프로젝트를 펼쳤고, 대구제일중 김선경 교사는 국어 수업에서 학생 참여형 구조를 통해 주도성을 높이는 연구를 진행했다. 경북대사범대부설중 이정원 교사는 지속가능발전목표를 주제로 한 미술 수업으로 융합형 인재 성장 모델을 구현해 호평을 받았다.
수상 교사들은 이번 성과의 핵심으로 ‘현장 적용 가능성’을 꼽았다. 매곡초 성애경 교사는 “학생 주도 개념 기반 탐구수업을 연구하며 배움의 본질을 다시 돌아보는 계기가 됐고, 수업자로서 전문성도 한 단계 성장했다”며 “앞으로도 학교 현장에서 실천할 수 있는 다양한 사례들을 계속 연구하고 적극적으로 공유하겠다”는 소감을 밝혔다.
강은희 대구시교육감은 “현장에서 끊임없이 연구하고 실천해온 선생님들께 깊이 감사드린다”며 “탐구 중심 수업과 평가 방식을 개선해 학교 교육의 질을 높이고, 교사의 자발적인 성찰 및 연구 문화가 확산될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

In the middle school category, examples of cross-curricular integration and enhanced learner autonomy garnered attention. Kwon Hye-jeong, a teacher at Kyungpook National University of Education High School, conducted an inquiry and convergence project using music, while Kim Seon-kyung, a teacher at Daegu Jeil Middle School, conducted research on enhancing student autonomy through a participatory structure in her Korean language classes. Lee Jeong-won, a teacher at Kyungpook National University of Education High School, received acclaim for implementing an integrated talent development model through an art class themed around the Sustainable Development Goals.
The award-winning teachers identified "practical applicability" as the key to their achievements. Seong Ae-kyung, a teacher at Maegok Elementary School, said, "Researching student-led, concept-based inquiry-based classes has given me the opportunity to re-evaluate the essence of learning, and my professional development as an instructor has also grown significantly." She added, "I will continue to research and actively share diverse case studies that can be implemented in schools."
Daegu Metropolitan Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee expressed her deep gratitude, saying, "I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the teachers who have continuously researched and implemented the research in the field. I will actively support the improvement of inquiry-based classes and assessment methods to enhance the quality of school education and foster a culture of voluntary reflection and research among teachers."
