이 사업은 대구사회복지공동모금회와 협력해 진행되며, 대상 가구에는 최대 50만 원까지 이사비가 지원된다. 지원 대상은 기초생활수급자와 차상위 가구로, 2025년 12월 1일 이후 북구 내에서 관내로 이사한 뒤 전입신고를 마친 가구다.
신청은 전입신고일로부터 60일 이내에 거주지 동행정복지센터를 방문해 접수하면 된다.
다만 자녀와 동거하는 사용대차 별도 가구 특례대상자, 사용대차나 전대차 형태로 거주하는 가구, 이미 다른 부처의 이사비 지원사업을 받은 가구는 지원 대상에서 제외된다. 또 1인 기준 금융재산이 984만6천 원을 초과할 경우 역시 지원을 받을 수 없다.
신청자는 전입신고 확인서, 주민등록등본, 기초생활수급자 또는 차상위 증명서, 임대차계약서 등 관련 서류를 준비해야 한다. 심사를 거쳐 지원금이 지급되며, 구체적인 지급 시기와 방법은 각 동행정복지센터를 통해 안내받을 수 있다.
배광식 북구청장은 “이번 사업이 저소득 취약계층의 주거 이동 과정에서 발생하는 경제적 부담을 실질적으로 덜어줄 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 복지사각지대 발굴과 맞춤형 복지사업 추진에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
