대한적십자사봉사회 파주지구협의회가 새 둥지를 틀고 본격적인 활동에 나선다.
파주지구협의회는 지난 6일 파주시 시청로 99 신규 사무실에서 '2025년 정기총회 및 개소식'을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 박진숙 파주지구협의회장을 비롯해 대의원, 협의회 봉사원, 유관기관 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.

정기총회에서는 2024년 한 해 동안의 봉사활동 성과를 되돌아보고, 2026년 사업 계획을 구체적으로 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.
특히 한 해 동안 헌신적으로 봉사활동에 참여한 봉사원들에게 표창과 감사패를 수여하며 그들의 노고를 치하했다.
이어진 개소식은 봉사원들이 보다 쾌적하고 효율적인 환경에서 활동할 수 있도록 마련된 새 공간의 의미를 되새기는 자리였다.
새 사무실에서는 사랑의 밥차 운영, 취약계층 지원, 재난구호 활동 등 다양한 봉사활동의 준비와 운영이 한층 체계적으로 이뤄질 전망이다.
박진숙 파주지구협의회장은 "이번 정기총회와 개소식을 계기로 적십자의 인도주의 가치가 지역사회 전반에 더욱 확산되길 기대한다"며 "앞으로도 재난 대응과 복지 사각지대 해소를 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다"고 포부를 밝혔다.
김경일 파주시장도 축사를 통해 "사무실 이전을 통해 봉사원들이 보다 나은 환경에서 활동할 수 있게 된 만큼, 앞으로도 이웃을 위한 따뜻한 나눔과 봉사가 지속되길 기대한다"며 "적십자 봉사활동이 안정적으로 이어질 수 있도록 적극적인 협력과 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 약속했다.
