【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대경대학교가 바이오·K-뷰티·메디컬 분야를 아우르는 융합 교육을 통해 항노화 전문 인력을 양성하는 ‘K-바이오뷰티융합대학원’을 국내에서 처음으로 설립한다.
대경대는 최근 뷰티예술전문기술석사 과정을 신설하고, 석사급 전문인력 양성에 본격적으로 나섰다고 8일 밝혔다.
신설되는 대학원은 유전자, 면역, 재생의학 등 바이오 분야와 K-뷰티, 메디컬 스킨케어를 결합한 전문기술석사 과정을 운영한다. 모집인원은 15명이며, 원서 접수는 1차 1월 16일까지, 2차는 2월 27일까지 진행된다.
특히 교육 과정은 항노화 산업의 최신 트렌드를 반영한 융합형 커리큘럼이 특징이다. 유전자와 마이크로바이옴 분석, 재생의학 이론을 기반으로 AI 활용 피부·건강 진단, 메디컬 스킨케어, 웰니스 관리 등 실무 중심의 수업이 마련된다. 이와 함께 병·의원과 메디컬 스파, 화장품·바이오 기업과 연계한 연구 프로젝트 및 임상 교육도 함께 진행된다.
교수진은 현직 의사와 의학자는 물론 줄기세포·바이오 분야 전문 연구진 등으로 구성돼 이론과 현장을 아우르는 교육을 제공할 계획이다. 대학 측은 “맞춤형 항노화 솔루션 설계 능력과 산업·임상 현장 적응력을 겸비한 인재를 배출하겠다”고 설명했다.
졸업 후에는 항노화·재생 클리닉 코디네이터, 메디컬 스파·웰니스 프로그램 디렉터, 화장품·바이오 기업의 연구개발, 피부·건강 컨설턴트 등 다양한 진로가 전망된다. 산학 네트워크를 활용해 인턴십, 현장 실습, 채용 연계도 활성화된다.
장혜진 K-바이오뷰티융합대학원장은 “이제 K-뷰티는 단순히 미용을 넘어서 바이오·메디컬 항노화 분야로 빠르게 확장되고 있다”며 “맞춤형 항노화 솔루션을 설계할 융합형 전문가 양성이 절실한 시점에 대학원이 신산업 인재 허브 역할을 하게 될 것”이라고 강조했다.
이채영 대경대 총장도 “K-바이오뷰티융합 산업은 의료와 헬스케어가 결합된 성장 잠재력이 큰 분야”라며 “과학적으로 검증된 항노화 전문가를 키워 지역과 국가의 신산업 경쟁력 강화에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

The faculty will consist of practicing physicians and medical scientists, as well as researchers specializing in stem cell and biotechnology, offering a comprehensive education that combines theory and practice. The university stated, "We aim to cultivate talented individuals with the ability to design customized anti-aging solutions and the adaptability to industrial and clinical settings."
Graduates are expected to pursue diverse career paths, including anti-aging and regeneration clinic coordinators, medical spa and wellness program directors, research and development positions at cosmetics and biotechnology companies, and skin and health consultants. Industry-academia networks will also facilitate internships, field training, and employment opportunities.
Dean Jang Hye-jin of the K-Biobeauty Convergence Graduate School emphasized, "K-beauty is rapidly expanding beyond mere beauty into the biomedical anti-aging field. At a time when we desperately need to cultivate convergent experts capable of designing customized anti-aging solutions, the graduate school will serve as a talent hub for this emerging industry."
President Lee Chae-young of Daegyeong University also said, “The K-biobeauty convergence industry is a field with great growth potential that combines medicine and healthcare,” and added, “We will contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of new industries in the region and the country by nurturing scientifically proven anti-aging experts.”
