[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양시는 3월 27일 시행되는 ‘의료·요양 등 지역 돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률’에 맞춰, 통합돌봄사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 전담팀을 신설하고 사업 준비에 나섰다.
통합돌봄 전담팀은 노인장애인과 내 사회복지직, 간호직 공무원 등 3명으로 구성됐으며, 총 6억 1천만원의 사업비를 편성해 통합돌봄사업을 추진한다.
통합돌봄사업은 노인과 장애인 등 일상생활이 어려운 시민이 ‘살던 곳에 계속 거주’하면서 보건의료, 일상생활 돌봄, 주거지원 등 다양한 돌봄서비스를 통합적으로 받을 수 있도록 지원하는 제도이다.
신설된 전담팀은 돌봄이 필요한 시민을 대상으로 돌봄 필요도, 주거 및 생활 여건 등을 종합적으로 판정하여 개인별 지원계획을 수립하고 서비스 연계부터 사후 모니터링까지 원스톱 통합돌봄서비스를 제공한다.
주요 서비스는 △방문의료서비스 △퇴원환자 지역사회연계 △주거환경개선사업 △클린버스 및 대청소 △일상생활돌봄(가사, 방문목욕) △이동지원 서비스 등이다.
돌봄이 필요한 시민은 주소지 읍면동 행정복지센터의 ‘돌봄지원창구’에서 상담 및 서비스 신청이 가능하며, 정부형 통합돌봄사업에 해당하지 않는 시민은 종합판정조사를 거쳐 경남형 통합돌봄서비스 지원을 받을 수 있다.
강숙희 노인장애인과장은 “의료·요양 통합돌봄 전담팀 신설을 통해 돌봄이 필요한 시민이 보다 체계적인 지원을 받을 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 지역 여건에 맞는 통합돌봄체계를 구축해 시민의 삶의 질 향상과 돌봄 사각지대 해소에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
