충남 서산시가 고물가와 인력난으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 농업인들을 위해 ‘농업기계 임대료 감면’ 혜택을 2026년 말까지 1년 더 연장하기로 했다고 15일 밝혔다.
서산시는 지난 2020년 코로나19 발생 당시 농가 경영난 해소를 위해 시작했던 임대료 50% 감면 정책을 당초 계획보다 연장하여, 오는 2026년 12월 31일까지 유지한다.
이번 결정에 따라 서산시 농업인들은 농작업에 필수적인 고가의 기계들을 기존 임대료의 절반 가격으로 이용할 수 있게 됐다.
감면 혜택은 서산시에 주소를 둔 농업경영체 등록 농업인이면 누구나 누릴 수 있다. 지원 대상 농기계는 현재 서산시가 보유한 총 82종 1123대에 달한다.
