복지 분야에서는 아동·보육 지원을 시작으로 사회적 배려가 필요한 계층에 대한 지원이 확대된다.
군은 5세 유아를 대상으로 기타 필요경비를 지원하는 단계적 무상교육·보육비 지원을 시행하고, 결식 우려 아동 급식 단가를 9500원에서 1만 원으로 인상해 성장기 아동의 건강을 뒷받침한다.
장애인 편의 증진을 위해서는 실물 장애인등록증과 동일한 효력을 지닌 모바일 장애인등록증을 도입해 신원 확인 절차를 간소화하고 분실로 인한 불편을 줄인다.
노인과 장애인을 위한 의료·돌봄 통합지원 사업도 새롭게 추진된다. 거주지를 옮기지 않고도 필요한 서비스를 연계해 받을 수 있도록 지원해 생활 안정성을 높인다는 계획이다.
