인천서구 심곡도서관, 독서 프로그램 ‘어린이 그림책 일기’ 개설

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구시설관리공단(이하 ‘공단’) 심곡도서관이 오는 2월 3일부터 25일까지 독서 프로그램 ‘어린이 그림책 일기’를 개설한다고 밝혔다. 

공단에 따르면, 심곡도서관은 이 프로그램을 초등학교 2~3학년 학생 15명을 대상으로 모두 6차에 걸쳐 실시하기로 했다. 

또 프로그램은 ‘전통·꿈·감정·차이·생각·예술’ 등 여섯 가지 가치를 주제로 한 그림책을 함께 읽고 토론한 후 그림일기를 작성하는 방식으로 진행하고, 프로그램 종료 후 참여 어린이들이 작성한 그림일기 결과물을 도서관 2층 꿈터 로비에 전시할 예정이다.

어린이 그림책 일기는 디지털 환경 속에서 저하되고 있는 어린이 문해력 문제에 대응하기 위해 기획된 프로그램으로, 그림책 감상과 토론, 손 글씨 일기 쓰기를 중심으로 기초 글쓰기 능력과 어휘력, 표현력 향상을 목표로 하고 있다.

심곡도서관은 “그림책과 일기를 통해 자신의 생각과 감정을 자연스럽게 표현하고, 독서와 글쓰기에 대한 긍정적인 경험을 쌓는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
