【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=해병대 제1사단과 해병대 교육훈련단이 지난 14일 각각 사단장과 단장 이·취임식을 거행하며 지휘부 교체를 마쳤다.
해병대 제1사단은 14일 오전 사단 도솔관에서 이호종 제45대 사단장의 이임식과 박성순 제46대 사단장의 취임식을 개최했다. 주일석 해병대 사령관 주관으로 열린 이날 행사에는 장상길 포항부시장, 주한미해병부대(MFK) 사령관을 비롯한 지역 기관장과 대학 총장, 인접 부대 지휘관 등 200여 명이 참석했다.
행사는 개식사를 시작으로 국기에 대한 경례, 애국가 제창, 묵념, 인사명령 낭독, 군기 이양, 해병대 사령관 훈시, 이·취임사 순으로 진행됐다.
제46대 해병대 제1사단장으로 취임한 박성순 소장은 해군사관학교 48기로 1994년 해병 소위로 임관해 해병대 제1사단 상륙돌격장갑차대대장, 해병대 제2사단 부사단장, 제9여단장, 한미연합군사령부 연습처장 등 주요 보직을 두루 역임했다. 주일석 해병대 사령관은 훈시를 통해 “해병대 1사단은 ‘해병대의 기준사단’”이라며 “강한 자부심과 함께 변화를 주도하는 적극적인 각오로 작전수행체계 재정립과 교육훈련에 만전을 기해달라”고 당부했다.
박 사단장은 취임사에서 “확고한 작전 대비태세를 완비해 어떠한 상황에서도 신속히 대응할 수 있는 능력과 태세를 갖추겠다”며 “서로를 배려하는 문화를 조성하고 국민과 함께하며 신뢰받는 사단을 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
같은 날 해병대 교육훈련단도 부대 김성은관에서 제42대 이종문 준장의 이임식과 제43대 김수용 준장의 취임식을 진행했다. 행사에는 주일석 해병대 사령관과 포항특정경비지역사령부 주요 지휘관, 이·취임 단장의 가족, 장병과 군무원이 참석했다.

행사는 국민의례, 인사명령 낭독, 군기 이양, 이임사, 취임사 순으로 진행됐다. 새로 취임한 김수용 교육훈련단장은 학사 90기로 해병대 6여단 61대대장, 해병대 2사단 8여단장, 해병대사령부 인사처장, 해병대 항공단장 등을 역임했다.
김 단장은 취임사를 통해 “교육훈련단은 강인한 해병과 책임 있는 리더를 길러내는 해병대의 심장이자 출발점”이라며 “해병대다운 미래 인재 육성을 위해 모든 역량을 집중하겠다”고 강조했다.
한편, 13개월 임기 동안 활기찬 병영문화 조성, 해병대 정신 충만한 해병 육성, 미래 교육훈련체계 구축, 예비전력 즉응태세 확립 등의 성과를 이룬 이종문 준장은 해병대사령부 참모장으로 영전했다.

The newly inaugurated Commander Kim Soo-yong, a 90th-grade graduate of the Korean Military Academy, previously served as Commander of the 61st Battalion of the 6th Marine Brigade, Commander of the 8th Brigade of the 2nd Marine Division, Director of Personnel Management at Marine Corps Headquarters, and Commander of the Marine Corps Aviation Wing.
In his inaugural address, Commander Kim stated, "The Education and Training Command is the heart and starting point of the Marine Corps, nurturing strong Marines and responsible leaders. I will dedicate all my capabilities to nurturing future talent worthy of the Marine Corps."
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Lee Jong-moon, who achieved results such as creating a vibrant barracks culture, nurturing Marines with the spirit of the Marine Corps, establishing a future education and training system, and establishing a reserve force readiness posture during his 13-month term, was promoted to Chief of Staff of the Marine Corps Command.
