[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함안군은 농촌 일손 부족과 기후변화에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 2026년도 시설원예 첨단 지능형 농장 기반조성 등 국도비 총 31억 원을 확보해 관련 사업을 추진한다고 16일 밝혔다.
2026년 시설원예 첨단 지능형 농장 기반 조성 사업은 모두 3개 분야로, 시설채소와 과수 스마트시설 기술 확산 분야에 20억 8천만 원, 농업에너지 이용 분야에 8억 7천만 원, 상품성 향상 분야 1억 8천만 원을 투입할 예정이다.
확보한 사업비로 원예작물 시설 내 수경재배 시설, 정보통신기술(ICT) 융복합 환경제어시설, 다겹보온덮개, 신재생에너지 시설 등 주요 작목별 맟춤 지능형 농장 시설을 농가에 지원할 계획이다.
함안군은 국립원예특작과학원과 연계해 시설원예 산업의 중심지로 발전시키기 위한 장기적인 원예산업 발전 계획을 수립하고, 스마트 시설원예 산업 기반을 조기에 마련하기 위해 사업비 확보 등에 힘쓰고 있다.
앞으로도 첨단 시설농업으로 ‘농업하기 좋은 함안’을 만들기 위해 농림축산식품부와 경상남도와의 협력을 강화해 시설원예 산업을 지속적으로 성장 및 발전시켜 나갈 방침이다.
함안군 관계자는 “최근 이상기상과 기후변화, 농촌 일손 부족 문제에 대응하기 위해 첨단 지능형 농장 도입은 선택이 아닌 필수다”며 “농업인이 필요로 하는 맟춤 지능형 농장 기술 도입을 최우선 농정 과제로 추진하겠다”고 전했다.
