군은 19일 군청 대회의실에서 조병옥 군수 주재로 화훼복합문화센터 및 광폭형 온실 건립을 위한 기본 및 실시설계용역 최종 보고회를 열고, 설계 내용의 완성도와 향후 운영 방향을 종합 점검했다.
이번 화훼산업진흥지역 육성사업은 2024년 농림축산식품부 공모 선정으로 국비 20억 원을 확보하면서 본격화됐으며, 총사업비 40억 원을 투입해 2026년까지 3개년 계획으로 금왕읍 용계리 음성화훼유통센터 부지에 조성된다.
이날 보고회는 한경표 음성군화훼생산자연합회 회장을 비롯한 임원과 각 작목반 대표, 관내 화훼유통 대표 등 20명이 참석했으며, 실시설계 결과에 대한 최종 점검과 향후 운영 방안에 대해 심도 있는 의견을 나눴다.
핵심 시설인 화훼복합문화센터는 연면적 292㎡의 단층 규모로, 카페와 사무공간을 갖춘 복합 공간으로 조성될 예정이다.
군은 이 공간을 단순한 판매 공간을 넘어, 지역 주민과 관광객이 함께 머물며 문화를 즐길 수 있는 ‘화훼 문화 거점’으로 만든다는 구상이다.
함께 조성되는 광폭형 온실은 연면적 1082㎡의 규모로 높이 15m·폭 25m의 H빔 구조로 설계돼, 열대식물과 다육·관엽·선인장 등 다양한 식물을 관람하고 구매할 수 있는 전시·판매 공간으로 운영될 전망이다.
군은 오는 3월 중 건축·전기·소방 등 공종별 시공업체를 선정한 뒤, 12월 준공을 목표로 복합문화센터와 온실 건립 공사를 추진할 방침이다. 또한 지난해 화훼 통합정보시스템과 음성화훼유통센터 수발주 시스템 구축을 완료했으며, 화훼 온라인 판매시스템 구축 용역도 올해 4월까지 마무리해 유통 판로를 확대할 계획이다.
