[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군은 올해 기준 중위소득이 지난해보다 6.51% 인상됨에 따라 주거급여 사업을 확대 추진한다고 21일 밝혔다.
주거급여는 ‘국민기초생활 보장법’과 ‘주거급여법’에 따라 소득, 주거형태, 주거비 부담 수준을 고려해 주거비를 지원하는 사업이다.
저소득층의 주거안정에 필요한 임차급여와 자가 주택 노후도에 따른 주택 개보수에 대한 수선유지급여로 나눠진다.
올해 1인 가구 월 소득인정액은 123만 834원이며 2인 가구 201만 5660원 3인 가구 257만 2337원 4인 가구 311만 7474원이다.
지역 내 거주하는 임차 가구에 지급하는 기준임대료는 1인 가구 21만 2000원, 2인 가구 23만 8000원, 3인 가구 28만 3000원, 4인 가구 32만 9000원으로 실제 임차료를 근거로 가구원 수 및 소득인정액 등을 고려해 현금으로 차등 지급한다.
수선유지급여는 자가가구 주택의 노후도에 따라 선정된 주택에 대해 경보수(최대 590만원·3년 주기), 중보수(최대 1095만원·5년 주기), 대보수(최대 1601만원·7년 주기) 등으로 구분해 지원한다.
주거급여 수급을 원하는 가구는 거주지 읍면사무소를 방문해 신청하거나 복지로에서 하면 된다.
대상자는 소득·재산 조사와 임대차 계약서, 주택 소유 여부 확인 절차를 거쳐 선정된다.
산청군 관계자는 “앞으로도 주거 취약계층의 주거 안정을 위해 대상자 발굴과 함께 주거급여 등 관련 제도 홍보와 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
