제갈임주 前 과천시의회 의장은 저서 ‘한결같이, 함께, 제갈임주’를 출간하며, 1월 22일(목) 오후 7시 과천시민회관 소공연장에서 출판기념회를 개최했다. 연이은 한파에도 출간을 축하하는 250여 명의 시민이 모여 성황을 이뤘다.
과천시, 의왕시를 지역구로 하는 이소영 국회의원의 축사로 시작하였다. 이소영 의원은 ‘저자 제갈임주는 말과 글에서 향기가 나는 분’ 이라며 ‘이 책은 시민단체 활동가에서 시의원, 시의장까지 20여 년간 현장에서 고민하고 해법을 찾는 제갈임주의 야전일지’라고 말했다. 이 외에도 우원식 국회의장, 김보라 안성시장, 김성회 국회의원, 정을호 국회의원, 주현신 과천교회 담임목사 등의 축하 영상이 소개되었다.
이 자리에서 제갈임주 前의장은 ‘과천은 주민자치의 모델이 될 중요한 도시이기에 시민과 함께 미래를 모색하는 방법을 찾아야 하며, 이번 책은 그간의 제 경험과 고민을 담은 것’이라고 본인의 저서를 소개했다.
한편 저자의 딸 신민서(28)양이 엄마를 위한 축가를 부르고, 책에 실린 사진 중 인생 네컷을 골라 북토크를 진행하는 등 시종 따뜻하고 흥겨운 분위기가 연출되었다.

Jegal Imju's Publication Celebration Successfully Concludes
Former Gwacheon City Council Chairman Jegal Imju held a publication celebration for his book, "Consistently, Together, Jegal Imju," at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 22nd, at the Gwacheon Citizens' Hall Small Theater. Despite the prolonged cold snap, the event was a success, with over 250 citizens in attendance to celebrate the publication.
The event began with a congratulatory address from National Assembly Member Lee So-young, whose constituency includes Gwacheon and Uiwang. Representative Lee stated, "Author Jegal Imju exudes a fragrant spirit in both his words and writings. This book is a field journal of Jegal Imju's 20 years of field experience, from civic group activist to city council member and city council chairman."
In addition, congratulatory videos were presented by National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik, Anseong Mayor Kim Bo-ra, National Assembly Members Kim Seong-hoe and Jeong Eul-ho, and Pastor Joo Hyun-shin of Gwacheon Church.
Former Speaker Jegal Im-ju introduced his book, saying, "Gwacheon is an important city that will serve as a model for local autonomy. We must find ways to explore the future together with its citizens. This book reflects my experiences and reflections."
Meanwhile, the author's daughter, Shin Min-seo (28), sang a congratulatory song for her mother and led a book talk featuring four photos from the book, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere throughout.
