【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 지역 농가의 안정적인 소득 기반을 마련하기 위해 ‘2026년 원예특작 분야 지원사업’의 신청 접수를 시작한다고 26일 밝혔다.
군은 과수·시설원예·특화작목 등 원예특작 전반에 대한 생산 기반을 강화하고, 농가의 경영비 부담 완화와 경쟁력 제고에 나설 방침이다.
신청은 오는 2월 6일까지 증평읍사무소 산업팀 또는 도안면사무소 산업팀을 통해 접수하면 된다.
이번 사업은 △과수 노력절감 생산장비 지원 △증평인삼 객토 지원 △고추 비가림재배시설 지원 △친환경 지역특화작목 육성 △원예특작 시설하우스 지원 △시설원예 스마트 생산기반 지원 △가뭄 대비 농업용 소형관정 지원 등 7개 세부 사업으로 구성됐다.
특히 ‘과수 노력절감 생산장비 지원사업’은 동력제초기, 동력운반차 등 과수 생산에 필요한 7종의 장비 구입을 지원해 고령화로 인한 노동력 부족 문제를 완화하고 작업 효율을 높이는 데 중점을 둔다.
증평을 대표하는 특산물인 인삼의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 ‘증평인삼 객토 지원사업’도 추진된다.
군은 객토 비용을 지원해 토양 환경을 개선하고 인삼 생육 안정성과 품질 향상을 도모할 계획이다.
또한 ‘친환경 지역특화작목 육성사업’을 통해 증평군 특화작목 재배 농가를 대상으로 장비와 저온저장고를 지원하고, ‘시설원예 스마트 생산기반 지원사업’을 통해 농사용 베드 등 스마트 농업 기반 확충에도 나선다.
이와 함께 가뭄 등 재해에 대비해 농업용 소형관정 설치 지원을 병행해 안정적인 농업용수 공급 체계도 구축할 예정이다.
