<브레이크뉴스 의정부= 이용하 기자> 의정부시가 치매 환자와 가족이 안심하고 살 수 있는 ‘치매 친화적 도시’ 조성을 위해 지역사회의 동참을 이끌어내고 있다.
의정부시 보건소 치매안심센터는 치매에 대한 올바른 이해와 공감을 바탕으로 지역 내 촘촘한 안전망을 구축하기 위해 ‘치매극복선도단체’를 연중 상시 모집한다고 28일 밝혔다.
‘치매극복선도단체’란 구성원 모두가 치매 파트너 교육을 이수하고, 단체가 보유한 인프라와 재능을 활용해 치매 극복 활동에 주도적으로 참여하는 기업, 기관, 학교 등을 말한다.
모집 대상은 관내 기업, 공공기관, 민간 단체, 초·중·고등학교 및 대학교, 도서관 등으로, 유형별 지정 요건을 충족하면 누구나 신청 가능하다.
선도단체로 지정되면 구성원들은 치매 환자를 이해하고 배려하는 ‘치매 파트너’로서 활동하게 되며, ▲치매 인식 개선 캠페인 ▲자원봉사 활동 ▲치매 관련 정보 전달 등 각 단체의 특성에 맞는 다양한 사회 공헌 활동을 펼치게 된다.
참여를 희망하는 단체는 신청서를 작성해 의정부시 치매안심센터(031-870-6149)로 제출하면 된다.
