함양군, 산림분야 예산 확보 추진

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함양군 산림녹지과는 2027년 산림분야 국도비 예산 확보와 주요 현안 사업 추진을 위해 경남도청 산림관리과, 산림휴양과 등 관련 부서를 방문해 적극적인 업무 협의를 진행했다고 29일 밝혔다. 

이번 방문은 2027년 국·도비 사업으로 신청한 산림 분야 사업에 대한 설명과 함께, 사업 필요성과 추진 당위성을 공유하고, 도 차원의 적극적인 지원을 요청하기 위해 마련됐다.

허인호 산림녹지과장은 총 86억 원 규모의 산림 분야 국·도비 사업을 설명하며, 지역 여건과 재해 예방, 산림 휴양 인프라 확충 등을 고려한 예산 반영을 적극 건의했다.

이에 용추자연휴양림 오토캠핑장 조성사업(20억 원)과 백두대간 생태 축(남령재) 복원사업(28억 원), 임도 개설(21억 원), 산사태 복구사업(15억 원), 숲길 조성(2억 원) 등 주요사업을 설명했다. 

특히, 지난해 7월 집중호우로 인한 산사태 발생 지역의 재해 위험도를 낮추기 위해 사방사업과 취약지 정비 등 단순 복구비 지원을 넘어 실질적인 재해 예방이 가능하도록 추가적인 사업비 지원이 필요하다고 강조했다.

경남도 산림 관련 부서에서는 건의된 사업에 대해 긍정적인 검토와 함께 2027년 경남도 예산에 반영될 수 있도록 협력하겠다는 뜻을 전했다.
