파주시가 보훈가족과 시민을 대상으로 한 새로운 교육 프로그램을 선보였다.
파주시는 지난 28일 보훈회관 3층 대강당에서 보훈가족 및 시민 40여 명이 참석한 가운데 2026년 신규 사업인 '보훈이음 교육'을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 2024년 4월 제정된 「파주시 보훈교육 활성화 지원에 관한 조례」에 근거해 마련됐다.

국가를 위해 헌신한 이들의 공로를 기리는 동시에 변화하는 보훈 정책과 복지 정보를 체계적으로 전달하고, 실생활에 도움이 되는 건강관리 교육을 제공하기 위해 기획된 프로그램이다.
상이군경회 파주시지회(회장 서현국)가 사업 수행을 맡고 있다.
교육은 총 2부로 구성됐다.
1부에서는 보훈 제도의 형성 과정과 보훈대상자가 실제로 받을 수 있는 각종 지원 제도를 알기 쉽게 설명해 제도 접근성을 높이는 데 주력했다.
2부에서는 보훈대상자의 연령대와 건강 특성을 고려한 생활 속 건강관리 방법과 예방 중심의 건강 정보를 제공해 건강한 노후 생활을 지원했다.
이명희 파주시 복지정책과장은 "보훈이음 교육을 통해 보훈대상자와 지역사회를 잇는 소통의 장이 되고, 보훈의 가치가 일상 속에서 자연스럽게 공유될 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.
'보훈이음 교육사업'은 매월 1회 보훈회관에서 진행된다. 참석을 원하는 보훈가족 및 시민은 상이군경회 파주시지회로 사전 신청하면 된다.

Paju City has launched a new educational program for veterans' families and citizens.

The "Veterans' Connecting Education Program" is held once a month at the Veterans' Hall. Veterans' families and citizens interested in attending can register in advance with the Paju City Branch of the Disabled Veterans Association.
